Nigerians in Bahrain
There are very few Nigerians in Bahrain due to the countries stringent policies and lack of business opportunities though the country is wealthy. In fact, the country’s population consists of just 1.6 percent of Africans. In terms of business opportunities, UAE would always be a preferred choice.
You must have a guarantor (Bahraini commercial entity or a Bahraini individual) to obtain a visa
eVisa eligibility has now been extended to 102 nationalities from the previous list of 38. For further details, including a complete list of eligible nationalities, follow this link.
If you do not meet the criteria for a Visit eVisa, or if you hold a travel document other than a passport, you may still be eligible for a visa on arrival, a sponsored visa or you may be eligible to apply for an eVisa through a Bahraini embassy. Check your eligibility by pressing the Apply for eVisa button, and note the methods available for obtaining a visa for Bahrain.
Approval of an application is not given immediately. Processing applications will take approximately 3-5 working days. We will advise you by email when a decision has been made.
There is no Bahrain embassy in Nigeria so for information, one would have to consult the nearest embassy or apply via eVisa.
If you intend to travel to Bahrain with dependents who are endorsed in your passport, you should not apply for an eVisa. Instead, if you are eligible for an eVisa, you should travel to Bahrain, and obtain a visa on arrival. Your dependents will be included on this visa with no additional charge.
